Default Does Toronto have a healthy music scene?

I have a question for anyone living in Toronto or near by. Does Toronto have a thriving music scene and what kind of scene is it?

Cheers.

Yes! It is a thriving scene that caters to all tastes. Of course there is the Air Canada Centre and the Molson Amphitheatre for the bigger names in music, and Roy Thompson Hall for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. But the real music scene is what's happening in the clubs and on the streets. There are tons of great live music venues here like the Horseshoe Tavern, the Phoenix, The Mod Club, the Opera House, the El Mocambo, and one of my favourite places, the Rockpile - the Rockpile is in Etobicoke and is a great venue for up and coming acts as well as amateur bands and even some bigger names.
