Record Store Day 2012

Didn't end up going this year. Haven't had as much money to spend on records lately and there was only one special RSD release that I really wanted (that I didn't feel like driving an hour to get).

Picked up a few items on Record Store Day: the Three O'Clock "Live At the Old Waldorf" LP, V/A The Taste of Burger Records on double cassettes, The Bats "By Night" EP, the Smoke Fairies "Live" EP and a couple 7"'s.

Missed the Capt Beefheart Frank Freeman's Dance Club LP as the one copy the store had was snatched up quickly.

Was looking to get this, too, but the store I went to had no copies. A shame! It's way too much on ebay (at least for now)

I went to a midnight event at a Seattle record store. It was a lot of fun, bought lots of non-RSD stuff. I did get the limited RSD reissue of the Small Faces album "There Are But Four Small Faces" and the reissue of the White Stripes "Elephant". I wanted the reissue of the Zombies self-titled as well but hey, can't get it all. Probably should have gone to a store in the morning but I couldn't be bothered to wake up...
