There is one album I keep going back to no matter what. And i'm always in the mood for it. It's Jon Anderson's Animation.

If you're a fan of Jon Anderson's vocals, I suggest checking it out. If you're a fan of him in Yes only, than this won't be your cup of tea. It's got an 80's vibe going for it, which he pulls off so well..

This is a completely impossible question to answer for me, but here's one that's certainly a contender, Kill Me Tomorrow's The Garbageman and the Prostitute:

This might be common knowledge.

Not just the album itself, but also that it was a sort of catalyst to broaden my horizons.

I do not know if I can pick a favorite. But I will say, just on the basis it contains my all-time favorite song.. that as of now:

Mine's probably pretty obvious, given my username, but here goes.

Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band

Every time you listen to it, it sounds fresh, there's always something new to find within the blathering cacophony. I love John "Drumbo" French's drumming with a passion, and Don van Vliet tosses his extraordinary vocal and poetic talents at us amidst the instrumentation. And what's more, it's endorsed by our current president.
