Default The Official (Eternal) Bonnaroo Thread

So theres a thread for what looks like each year. I say we create one in general and we just discuss whatever the next one is.

I'm a little hit-or-miss this year. The three headliners are Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Phish. Thats roughly 1.5 acts I'd sit through. Beyond that there are a smattering of good acts interspersed between things I'm not really interested in. Here's the 2012 lineup: (in alpha order)

I could probably sit through Bad Brains, Misfits tribute, The Roots, and Ben Folds Five. I'm not a huge fan of Radiohead or the Chili Peppers, I never understood the hype. The problem with festivals is the sets are usually 30 minutes and stuffed with radio friendly material. I think the atmosphere of the venue would add a lot to my enjoyment and Bonnaroo is known for being a great show.
