Although there's an existing Floyd thread and I'm sure this has been covered many times before, I'll chime in because I'm always game to talk about my favorite bands.

In terms of underrated, that's easy: Obscured by Clouds

Being released in between Meddle and DSOTM, it is often unjustly overlooked and virtually unknown to many Floyd fans, but it is excellent from front to back.

More, imo. Possibly their 'heaviest' album, in terms of loud dynamics and whatnot. Extremely multifarious, too.

the live version of "Careful with that Axe, Eugene" is probably their best live performance of any song
