I realise I've listened to this one very consistently since like July of last year, not sure if it's once a week, but should be close enough.

Hahaha...exactly.

You haven't said anything to convince me otherwise , Il Duce.

Just incredible.

Great thread.

The Virginia EP - The National

I love this EP. Really easy to listen to and the lyrics are addicting (Santa Clara, Blank Slate, Tall Saint), and then there's some great versions of favourites from other albums (Slow Show - from Boxer, Lucky You - from Sad Songs, Fake Empire - from Boxer, About Today - from Cherry Tree <- great to end the album). On top of that a lot of the other tracks have bits and pieces that you'll recognize from other The National songs. I'm addicted.

Lonesome Crowded West - Modest Mouse

I don't really mean to but I end up listening to this album on shuffle all the time because I never skip one of its songs. There's a collection of nice long songs on here that hit a lot of interesting changes, sounds, and tracks. There's also a number of great 2-3 minute tracks. I have to say most of my favourite examples of modest mouse lyrics on this album.

Creep On Creepin' On - Timber Timbre

I love this album. Everything about it. Taylor Kirks voice is perfect. Obelisk, Swamp Magic, and Souvenirs are the only tracks I don't listen to during daily life just because despite also being absolutely amazing... they're like dramatic movie music. Timber Timbres self titled album is similar to Creep On Creepin' On, and I listen to it almost as much, but it can tag along here to save space.

You're Living All Over Me - Dinosaur Jr, At Mount Zoomer - Wolfparade, Heartland - Owen Pallet, and Real Estate's self titled also get considerable play time, but aren't as solid starters as the above.

i've already stated several times that I hated analysing myself cos it detracted from my enjoyment of them

i don't want to write a dissertation on why it is good - it just sounds so good to me

I couldn't disagree with you. It introduced me to Electronic music outside of just the club oriented stuff. I remember at first not getting into it, and progressed to the point that I couldn't let it go. I just kept it on and loved every second of it. It was the first CD I bought from retail in years.

I listen to Bring Me Your Love from City And Colour. I usually am listening to music on youtube and decide to listen to one from from him. One song leads to two, and two leads to the entire album. I can't wait to go see Dallas Green in concert on February 17th!
