I was going for the more destructive side of explosions, The drums were supposed to sound almost military like with motifs taken from gun fire and the stampering of boots, the environment is the strings, I couldn't use much else texture wise as it needed to contrast heavily with the explosions themselves. Each time one goes off the tonal center comes under more of a threat and it begins to sound slightly more tragic.

Working on mine right now - not really liking how the editing is going, so I may wait until tomorrow and try to get it settled.

I'm having some pretty ****ed up latency issues with my laptop right now which is making it nearly impossible to record and layer live instruments. I'm probably gonna have to sit this round out unless i can compose something decent on ableton in time which isn't likely.
As for everyone else's compositions, I like all of them so it's gonna be a tough choice.

By what time zone are we going by? It's still bright here.
