I don't know a whole lot about headphones, but I can definitely vouch for those bad boys in my last post. I paid $80 for mine, but apparently the price has dropped to $45. Anyway I got them mostly because they have crazy bass (mids and high are good too) and I tested them against Beats and they sounded way better.

I'm giving mine to Rubato, a short spurt but a nice spurt with a comical idea.
Although I like Janszoon's quite a bit as well.
