I was thinking of pushing it to the end of this week anyway. Have a melody written but don't have much else, things have been a bit hectic in my house as I've been packing and getting ready to move

Out of curiosity, since I think about this every time I'm mixing a track for this thread, what is everyone using to listen to people's submissions? Headphones? Speakers? Your computer's built-in speakers (please god no)?

And it definitely does not mean that the setup makes everyone's submissions sound better. It means it's a lot easier to tell what's actually going on in them that bad systems wouldn't be able to otherwise, whether it's good things or bad.

Part of the time. I have some reasonably okay external speakers too. I go back and forth between them and the headphones in an effort to have some kind of balanced idea of what I'm putting out.

I really need something better than these 20 dollar sony turds.
