1. Rip and move my collection to the PC completely.
2. Listen to more music and scrobble on Last.FM.
3. Rate more RYM.
4. Spend on some really expensive speakers and DAC.

I see surpassing 1000 artists on last.fm to be a realistic resolution for myself.

To be a better person and a family man.

1) Go to one of the festivals this summer.
2) Buy a cheap bass guitar.
3) Learn how to read music (I'll probably fail tbf)
4) Buy a record player.
5) Invest in some records.
6) I'd love to learn how to play my mates banjo.
7) Rebuild my music collection once my laptop is repaired (3rd time in 2yrs :@)
8) I can't think of an 8, but I will.

1.If you've never been to a summer festival, I will say "go."
2.Washburn make some good quality, inexpensive bass guitars. (I own one and don't regret buying it.)
3.I didn't think I could learn to read music either, but I found it easier to learn than a foreign language. (If that helps your confidence.) :)
4.It's worth investing some time, money and effort in getting a good quality turntable. (You'll never regret it.)
5.Some of the best places to get quality vinyl at great prices, are at record shows/fairs.
6.Just pick it up and go for it! (You might surprise yourself.)
Can't give any suggestions for 7 & 8. (Sorry.)

Hope you have a great 2012!

So, anyway, my musical resolution for 2012 is to get out and see more shows when a band/artist I like comes to my neck of the woods.
I've missed too many of my favorites in the past, who've either broken up or died after I missed the chance to see them the first time around.

Yes, i have learned that if an artist you like comes near you, you should go ASAP. If you do not go now, it will probably not be the same if you go next time (if) they come around.
