My thread proved to be so good that it came back

I'll add one to it, which probably didn't get much airplay in the US until December.

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra) - official video - YouTube

The song is so unique in its message, and the video conveys rejection and longing well in a unique, raw way (the mingling of naked ugliness and naked attractiveness).

Hear, hear. Gotye has emerged as probably the best pop find of 2011. As for the video it is very effective in it's subtlety and of course the way it shows nakedness in a tasteful and yet arty way.

Default Best Music Videos of 2011?

I think "Last Friday Night" is ranked correctly. "Lotus Flower" doesn't even belong on the list - I find it boring. Also, "Girl Panic" is ranked much too high. i like music And enjoy of the listing music. all people like music.

The Current (the indie branch of Minneapolis Public Radio) has been playing the **** out of this song for the last two months. I can't say I don't enjoy it.

Agreed. Agreed agreed agreed.

And the video for Tom Waits' "Satisfied" is also pretty badass.
