Default I Just Have To See Them Before I Die.

I am hoping that as a music loving forum and when time and finances permit, we all try to see live music whenever we can but who is on your 'bucket list' so to speak? There must be bands that you just absolutely HAVE to see and who are still doing gigs however intermittently?

It's not about bands that have passed or your ultimate band to see, just those on your hit list.

I consider myself quite lucky in that I have seen most of the bands/artists that I really want to see but here are a couple of gaps:

The Fall
AC/DC
Rage Against The Machine
Pink Floyd ( there are signs of a tour soon)
BB King
The Prodigy
Fink
Mars Volta
Black Sabbath ( may be solved next year )

Radiohead would have to make my list, as well. Although, just about any live concert would do for me at this point, seeing as I've never been to a real one. (Being dragged to BSB doesn't count.. x_x) My parents recently saw Jackson Browne.. I was so irritated that it was a school night and I couldn't go..

^ I've seen RATM, The Prodigy and Arcade Fire

I haven't been to a proper gig in over a year so there's tons of bands I really want to see. But I guess those that I really want to see before I die are as follows:

My Bloody Valentine
Radiohead
Pixies
Sonic Youth
The Cure
Dinosaur Jr.
The Stone Roses
The Flaming Lips

I knocked three of my list this year. Neil Young, The Black Keys, and The Flaming Lips.

I would still like to see:

David Bowie
Pink Floyd
Of Montreal
U2
Prince
The Hives
Girl Talk

Well I knocked Rage Against the Machine out in 2008 at Rock the Bells, and Rush last year.

Still looking to get to:

Tool, first and foremost, because every time they came through they sell out in under 15 seconds, literally. Damn scalper companies!

I could go for DJ Shadow too. I've never seen a show posted until it's too late.

Buckethead
John Zorn
Mike Patton
Bill Laswell
Bootsy Collins

Oh dear, there are way too many bands I want to see that I haven't seen yet.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Genghis Tron
Lagwagon
65daysofstatic
The Mars Volta
The Dillinger Escape Plan

...those are just the first ones that come to mind.
