Patti Smith, for sure. I was so close twice; First when I was in New York City. And She wasn't performing with her band the second time, but she was speaking in Flint, Michigan. It's difficult to catch a performance because she is out of the U.S most of time.
I think that's it, Bright Eyes was on the list but I caught the last show when they were on tour in September. Wait, I lied. She & Him, also. Okay, I'm done. |

Good shouts for The Cure and De La Soul. Wouldn't mind checking out Public Enemy (if they ever got around to gigging again) and going to a decent club with a DJ set from the likes of Krafty Kuts. Beastie Boys Tom Waits Jimmy Cliff Toots and the Maytals are a couple of artists I would like to see. |
Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine, Boards of Canada, GY!BE
That's it really. There are tons of acts I'd give a pinky to see, but those three I'd kill for the privilege. |

Worse, it looks like there are not good replacements. |
Pink Floyd (I'll get to see Roger Waters' The Wall next year which I'm already ****ing excited about)
The Smiths Black Sabbath (Next Year) System of a Down The Misfits (w/ Danzig) Kalmah The Chemical Brothers The Strokes Dethklok The Mars Volta Queens of the Stone Age Placebo |

But for me it's probably Thrice, mewithoutYou, or The Appleseed Cast. I missed TAC last August cause the venue is always 18+ but this show wasn't for some reason, and I didn't find out till after. Still pissed |

God, there's a lot. Most important to me right now, though:
DoseOne / 13 & God / Themselves / Anything with DoseOne, really Radiohead Bob Dylan Elvis Costello The Arcade Fire The Flaming Lips Busdriver Leonard Cohen MBV EDIT: Oh! And Richard Thompson. |
I would be satisfied just seeing Rik Emmett (singer, guitarist, songwriter) for the Canadian band Triumph live.
My guess is Rik Emmett has an outstanding live performance. |
I have to see The Decemberists before I die. I don't what I'd do with myself if I heard Engine Driver live :')
I also need to see Bright Eyes, Rufus Wainwright, Pedro the Lion, Moving Mountains and The Saddest Landscape. |
