My reaction to popular music is the same as my reaction to all music. decide if its good. If yes, continue listening, if no, seek to remove source of disturbance or relocate elsewhere.

Britney Spears's Blackout is an absolutely flawless album. Well written, light electro pop that cost a fortune to record and produce. And you can tell. It sounds expensive. This is the album I will play in the background of my upcoming orgy in a swimming pool full of money.

I'd put up with Britney Spears for that, can I come?

i love pop, so no problemo

if a pop song comes on in the club, e.g. Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger", i'll do my epileptic elephant dance

If I'm in a situation involving dancing, I really don't care what's playing, as long as it's got a beat I can dance to. When I'm out, I'm there to have a good time and be social, not really listen to music. I don't really make it priority to listen to these songs when I'm on my own time, but occasionally a few are pretty catchy and not completely awful.

Haha, if there's a situation involved dancing, I'm running.
I'm terrified of dancing, somehow.

There is a time and a place for Dancing, and that is at a night club. No self-respecting nightclub is going to crack out some Tom Waits. Just not going to happen.

Get p*ssed and enjoy POKER FACE!

I usually don't mind it. I don't like it, but it's not hard to sit through.

I am one of these guys that has a mad dream that I will open a night club for "Alternative" people, but then I remembered the only night club I ever go to is apparently "alternative" and they play Green Day, Limp Bizkit and Sum 41 on the "Metal" floor

Better off separating your musical tastes from your social life.
