You haven't got any good record stores there?
Man, you're very welcome if you're ever here. But truth be told; This store isn't that interesting when it comes to second hand records. It's the musical knowledge of the people there that's really interesting. If you're into buying second hand vinyl, I suggest you go to De Waterput in Bergen op Zoom or Plaatboef in Rotterdam. Great, great shops

Plaatboef is so big:

^ Wow, that`s quite a shop - and strangely clean-looking too !
No shops like that here, but it`s not such a problem : I used to buy vinyl when I had an old-fashioned record player, but I`m one of those gutless consumers who has just drifted with the technological current, first moving to cds and now to computer files.
Thanks for the invite, though; I could happily spend a few hours with you in a shop like that.

On the topic of old shops, who remembers the acoustic booths that they used to have ? You could ask to listen to an album, but you had to endure a withering look from the counter staff and didn`t dare leaving the shop without buying something.

Man, the things I'd do to get to work in a place like that...

These pictures are quit misleading. Trust me, when you're there it does feel like a music shop .

*sigh*
Use your ****ing ears man! Haha .
Truth be told, with the amounts of storage space we have nowadays, computers are now able to hold quite a bit of audio in a quality that's way better than CD quality. Finally, after all these years of digital audio, people can get proper digital quality in their homes. CD quality is really far from the bets you can get when it comes to digital audio

Haha, who knows!

Hahaha, at my shop there's just two old Gemini turntables and microphones on the counter. You drink coffee while you talk to the shop owners and listen to music. It's great.

I collected these 45rpm adapters when I was cleaning up my house. I found 8 of them and donated them to my music shop, they always get stolen
