It's getting harder for me to find affordable second hand vinyl records of my liking, as I've already got so much

It was part of the original chain but it's privately-owned now as far as I know. The actual Tower Records chain no longer exists but they were allowed to keep the name as part of a franchise. There's still a few other stores trading under the Tower Records name around the world as far as I know.

I think Virgin bought out the UK branch of Tower Records a few years ago.
Most of my shopping was done at the Rough Trade shop in Camden, I would save up and go there every 6 months, maybe catch a couple of gigs while I was in London. It was fun.

Idiot
I still buy new records, regularly.
So what are you on about? s_k Music Addict Yes I still buy records still and go to record shops but the post is about the history of buying and the places we went to. I have reported you to the admin as your map and comments are not welcome. |

You may want to reread my comment as I actually answered your question perfectly, below the map. But hey, suit yourself.

The words Idiotic, attention seeking and creepy would be some of them, but it's not breaking any actual forum rules.

First time I've ever seen someone title a single post, though.
