Smoking marijuana does not make music better. That's rubbish!

With that said, one could also argue, I probably listen to significantly more advanced layered difficult music than the average pothead, and feel no further need for assistance than I already have.

Probably one of the most asinine statements ever made on MB, which is saying quite a lot. You're ****ing hilarious mate, and IMO statements like this are one of the main reasons that this forum has gone down hill since its inception.

How has it gone down hill? We have so many interesting discussions and debates that occur on this site all the time.

Add 'listening to' to the title :)

You'd be surprised...all of my engineering friends smoke weed, and I don't think it's a coincidence at all. (I've got plenty of friends that aren't stoners, if you're wondering).

It might interfere with my ability to keep my homework to a page, but it definitely helps with my deductive reasoning skills.

Looks like a subjective topic to me.

i am in the exact same boat......there is nothing like a couple of beers to loosen the gears when checking out new music....not getting drunk per say....but just relaxing body and mind....its nice....Cheers s_k

To each his/her own.

i think this is the best quote in this thread

changing your perception in any way is going to change how you feel and or experience anything.....i suppose its up to the individual as to whether they dig it or not

Marijuana definitely lowers the threshold for psychosis, so it's not like you're alone in this regard. I once "tripped" on weed and it might have been one of the single scariest drug episodes of my life...started hearing voices and it was like living a waking nightmare.

Cannabis definitely isn't for everyone, and if that became a habitual problem for me I definitely wouldn't smoke anymore. But it's the same thing with alcohol...if you're predisposed to the alcoholic gene it probably would not be wise to go binge drinking on weekends.
