Tomatoes have properties against cancer too y'know.

Regardless of why they use it I still feel an obligation to try and spread awareness that it isn't a demoralizing or destructive drug. I feel strongly about this issue so I tend to go on at length about it, but that doesn't mean that kind of rhetoric isn't valid in this thread. I agree that the vast majority of pot smokers only do so to get stoned, which I also have no problem with. I just have a hard time with those who cling to close-minded sterotypes when it comes to marijuana.

I'm pulling my hat out of this thread, primarily because it's time is passed and this blastingas10 is making me seem like an idiot by association. There's no us, guy. I was trying to have a conversation with Ska and you've been buzzing around our arguments without actually contributing much to the discussion.

Not really. Anyone who knows me knows I don't do that nor do I do it in an antagonizing manner (which is something that you tend to do a lot).

Remember our discussion in the Best Guitarist thread? When things started to get a bit out of hand, I said this:

Everyone, just drop it... The discussion's over.

Also... I love Derek Bailey as well, and that video in particular really shows how funny and sociable of a man he is. It's also interesting just to see how he plays... considering he has such a unique style of playing the guitar.

I also tried changing the subject in an attempt at ending the animosity that kept rising up (like I did in this thread). Also, I was never apart of this argument, so ending it wouldn't benefit me in any way...

No problem. It's dropped.

Let this be a lesson to anyone who supports Marijuana legalization. Never cut down your ally, it only hurts the movement. We have to stand together. I am a member of NORML, and you will never find anyone that has such an attitude at our meetings, because we're on the same team and we would never tolerate someone belittling another member. It's such a destructive and foolish attitude that doesn't do any good.
