It's been illegal for so long and nobody was allowed to really do research besides at the one research center (in the US) in like... the South, like Alabama where they made kind of mediocre weed for research so that the results came up with little to nothing good to say. In this day and age, prohibition is slipping and more legitimate research is being done in Europe and the like, and some places in the US. The government doesn't want to research legitimately good marijuana... |

It is people like you, Jew Sun Ra, that keep Such a relatively harmless substance(in comparison with just about any other substance) illegal. You think it's propaganda going into the issue of legalizing pot? Well tell me, what the hell do you call the bull**** that they put into the case for making pot illegal? All the "Reefer Madness" claims, that is the pinnacle of propaganda. It is not propaganda that goes into the case for legalization, it is concrete fact that disputes the propaganda that was put into the case of Marijuana prohibition. It's those same facts that people use to try and educate people like you, people who are fooled by the true propaganda.

Here's a great little copy and paste for anyone who thinks I'm just blowing smoke...(get it?): Cannabinoids have been found to have antioxidant properties, unrelated to NMDA receptor antagonism. This new found property makes cannabinoids useful in the treatment and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The cannabinoids are found to have particular application as neuroprotectants, for example in limiting neurological damage following ischemic insults, such as stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and HIV dementia. Nonpsychoactive cannabinoids, such as cannabidoil, are particularly advantageous to use because they avoid toxicity that is encountered with psychoactive cannabinoids at high doses useful in the method of the present invention. A particular disclosed class of cannabinoids useful as neuroprotective antioxidants is formula (I) wherein the R group is independently selected from the group consisting of H, CH3, and COCH3. This comes from U.S. Patent # 6630507, filed by US Department of Health and Human Services due to new findings by the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Give this a read. Pot Kills Cancer and Our Government Has Known for 36 Years | Garden State Alternative | Medical Marijuana Please, if it was you and Jew Sun Ra who had us up against the ropes in a discussion, you would not be saying this. Last edited by blastingas10; 11-17-2011 at 05:33 PM. |

Glad to see you haven't lost your wit. Don't really remember saying everyone uses marijuana medicinally. He challenged the idea that cannabis has medical value, I simply posited that it does and proved it. Can't we have an intelligent arugment without hurt feelings getting in the way, or am I back in second grade here Urban?

I'll go ahead and change the subject... Sometimes when I want to listen to (or make) music, I'll meditate for about thirty minutes or so before I do. This allows me to take on a much more clear and open-minded approach towards the music, and it allows for a completely different experience.
For those who meditate and smoke cannabis, which one is more effective when adopting an open-mindedness towards music? |
