I never heard of Hendrix as a junkie. The main things were always LSD and weed. Though I wouldn't doubt he was offered a little of everything and probably tried anything presented.

^^he could pretty well manage his addictions, i've yet to heard of him spending vast fortunes on drugs or going to seedy backlane dealers for the kinda stuff

his death is unfortunate only because it was more like a suicide and lord knows what that girl he was with gave him for his insomnia

I've heard of an instance when he smacked keith Richards girlfriend, or maybe it was his wife (linda?). He had a drunken outburst every now and then.
