I have seen Buckethead has quite a career list of things he has done. I wish the more of years of his but he is nothing Jimi Hendrix. Jimi has more influence. Sorry but Jimi Hendrix is still the man.

There were some of the lowest points in MB history in this thread - but on the other hand some of the members here really managed to produce some excellent points and I got some good recommendations from blastingas which I think were very useful and might not have happened otherwise.

To be honest, did it look like any kind of objective views were going to be professed here?This I think was actually a decent idea, which surprised me greatly - presenting some evidence to change people's minds about any prejudices people have over entire genres is quite a worthy cause.The second one there was entirely for attention seeking purposes.And these were incredibly biased - seemed to be more like statements he was going to insist you agreed with.

Well thanks, Rezz. Ill take that as a compliment since I created that thread.

I can see how people don't like "vs" threads. That's probably not the best way to phrase the thread. With me, I go into a "vs" thread already knowing that it's all subjective, and there are sensible reasons on both sides of the argument. They're all just fun and games for me, I like to see what other people have to say.

Just ones that have absurd comparisons with artists that are nothing alike. Like this one.
