Whoa, I'm now completely confused. I always thought Jimmy Page was very good at slurring his notes to create some fantastic sounds (listen to "Misty Mountain Hop", it's not that adventurous but it's still amazing), but I never understood how anyone could call him sloppy ("Rock and Roll" on the same album is very technical). And Dream Theater...

sorry but we love what we love and we hate what we hate round here
I don't have any hate or love for any artists. I do however have respect for certain artists. I don't see the need to deny the flaws of my favorite artists or even go looking for them. I just try to enjoy music for what it is.

I do. It doesn't mean they are perfect or that I love them.

Being sloppy doesn't mean he is horrible. Even Yngwie Malmsteen can be sloppy at times. Jimmy Page has tremendous respect from me for his live performances and the sensuality and soul he put into his music. I cannot stress enough how much I respect I have for his guitar playing and songwriting ability.

???????

You "enjoy them very much" but you "don't love them".

"...I will say things you will neither enjoy nor agree with..."

I suppose you're living up to your signature.

When I say "enjoy them very much" it simply means I like their music. I don't have to love a band or think they're perfect to enjoy their music.

That`s why you don`t have any real passion for music and it shows.

So tell us a guitarist that you don`t regard as being sloppy?

Actually music plays a very big part in my life. I have a great love for music. Just because I don't express it in the same manner as you doesn't change that.

Michael Angelo Batio and Steve Vai.

NO! Don't confuse USING THE SUSTAIN PEDAL with BEING SLOPPY. I think you might be confusing technical effects.
