One of the things I like about tool is that Adam jones isn't self indulgent with his guitar playing. He doesnt go overboard with his playing, he's like the George Harrison of prog-metal. He makes every note count.

I love how they work as one unit. Theyre so melodic. Nobody really stands out above the others, Maynard even sings in the back so the spotlight isn't on him.

They suck and yes I have listened to 3 of their albums just to see if I was just being an arsehole for the sake of it but no, they do suck.

Where? on your audio line out? Gladly!

Each to their own, but seriously Dream Theater fans just cannot grasp the fact that many people just don't like them. I am Pink Floyd fan and a lot of people on here cannot stand them. I couldn't give a crap really and don't worry about it.

Their wankery is the worst of the worst. Dream Theater is godawful and i've seen them live in person. I had to leave and go outside halfway through and smoke a joint to get that bad sound out of my ears. I just don't get the hype. Jordan the keyboardist is a nice guy though he was a cool guy at the NAMM show.
