Absolutely masterful and captivating stuff.
And damn, Zerang doesn't get enough credit. One of the best jazz drummers around.
That sounds like a great show, Lonberg Holm needs more love. His Party Knullers project is a blast.

Saw Max Cooper yesterday. If what we heard is his new album then its a pretty damn good album. and his visual show was amazing. usually i dont care (or maybe ishould say i detest) about these kinds of things, but this one is really good

Saw Daughters and HEALTH last night. Easily the most intense concert I’ve experienced.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Last week I saw Coppelia and two days later The Nut Cracker. Both were performed by The Russian State Ballet of Siberia and accompanied by The Russian State Ballet Orchestra.

The Orchestra was excellent, and so was the choreography and costumes.

Saw Eric Johnson last night with my dad who's a huge fan of that dumb shredder ****. Wasn't the cringefest I expected...mostly. They did a bunch of songs from Ah Via Musicom and closed with Cliffs of Dover obviously. They also did a bunch of ****ing cruise ship piano ballads which were bleh. They played Impressions by Coltrane though and that **** was fire. The drummer's done a lot of stuff with Chick Corea and he was off the chain on that one, very Bruford in his approach.

Yeah, Eric can be a little soft in his approach to entertain, but Dumb Shredder **** isn't quite the term I'd use to describe him.

lol

Tones and Venus Isle are way better than Musicom, imo. I haven't heard much after Seven Worlds though.

This release just showed up in my bandcamp feed

il piccolo incidente by PETER EVANS / ALFRED VOGEL

It was actually released in 2016 but afaik it's new to bandcamp and I couldn’t find it on Spotify. Bandcamp has the release date as yesterday but discogs contradicts that claim.
