I seem to get through shows a lot quicker this time of year (winter!) due to it being dark early and too cold to be bothered with going out. I've been trawling through netflix and amazon prime to find shows to watch and sometimes spend ages trying to find something.
At the minute i'm part way through Lucifer Season 1 and i'm really enjoying that. i had tried to start The Walking Dead, but i got a bit bored during the first episode (around about where the horse gets got) and switched it off. |

Went to see a local band last Friday. 'Delta Generators' a blues/blues-rock four piece from Worcester MA. They have a new vocalist/harmonica player formerly with the 'Radio Kings' from Boston. A good mix of original songs from the Delta Generators plus a few covers and a song from the vocalist's solo album.

Vanilla Fudge a couple of nights ago. Mark Stein (Keyboards & Vocals), Vince Martell (Guitar & Vocals), Carmine Appice (Drums & Vocals), Pete Bremy (Bass & Vocals), 3 of the original 4 members with Pete Bremy on bass replacing Tim Bogert. A good show featuring a variety of 60's cover songs done in their slowed down, heavy psych-rock sound.

I went to see the Robby Krieger Band last Wednesday night. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the debut album by The Doors, so the band played all Doors songs for the entire set instead of their usual mix of Doors music, covers, and Robby Krieger's solo material.
The band is Robby Krieger (Guitar & Vocals), Waylon Krieger (Vocals), Phil Chen (Bass), Ed Roth (Keyboards & Vocals), Ty Dennis (Drums). Robby's guitar tech joined them on stage for a couple of songs, adding a second guitar to the sound for "L.A. Woman" & "The Changeling." |

^ Robby's wearing a Beatles shirt!
Sounds like a great show. He's not coming to Ontario, otherwise I'd snap up tickets.

I saw Chairlift's last show in Brooklyn last weekend. That was the first time I've ever been to a band's "last" show. They played their hearts out and got all emotional. I got hammered. It was a good show.
