I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Not sure how I'm going to rank everything yet, but some standout albums this year, for me, have been:

F*cked Up "David Comes To Life"
Tyler, The Creator "Goblin"
Touche Amore "Parting The Sea Between Brightness And Me"
Snowman "Absence"
Fleet Foxes "Helplessness Blues"

A bunch of others that I remember liking need revisiting.

I've grabbed quite a lot of albums this year, but these are the ones that have really stood out for me.
Refreshing list Pete, especially coming after the three ultra hipsters before you

Top 25 of 2011 thus far

Been a pretty underwhelming year so far, excluding these albums.

Ultra hipster?

I suppose if I deny that, it's a sign of guilt?

Actually my list is pretty predictable if you are somewhat familiar with my tastes. The list is largely metal, two hip hop albums that I've talked about on this forum, my Steven Wilson fanboyism shining through when I chose Blackfield's album over his solo work, and a little unknown Canadian band to show my support. Actually the only artists on my list who I wasn't familiar with until this year was Kendrick Lamar and Tim Hecker. Still I'll take the kind words none the less.

It also makes me happy that two other people have listed *Shels' Plains of the Purple Buffalo but riddle me this, WHERE THE HELL WHERE YOU WHEN I WAS TRYING TO GET A DISCUSSION GOING ON THEM BACK IN JULY WHEN THE ALBUM DROPPED! For the amount of post-rock love on this forum, I was pretty disappointed that only one or two people showed any interest.
