I haven't checked out all the recs here, but I liked the ones by 42 Decibels, Dubies and Faauna.

Here you will find music from Spain and Chile, heker, so if you want to plant the flag of Argentina in this thread, you are very welcome:-

This is also on the radio.

The videos make some winks to the Clockwork Orange, and the Shinning.

^ This vocalist is a real character! I liked the video; I wonder if the song is also about (without actually mentioning), the expression "Buscando mi media naranja" which in Mexico means "Looking for my soulmate, or life partner."

The instrumental reggae tracks are pretty good too, but perhaps a little too "chill" for my usual tastes. If you like that sound, you should check out:- http://www.musicbanter.com/country-f...t-ranglin.html

Don't dare to ask!

There are many theories. Some say he's speaking about his dog because "he loves to leave, usually escapes; such fleeting remedy..:"

Some say he's speaking about his son (the boy on the second video).

Another explanation I heard is that he's bantering his fans, claiming to return to his former band "Los Piojos", which is a theme I heard from many solo artists.

...but none of that explains the oranges

That's a nice album of covers, so I will post some covers of Spinetta

^ HaHa! That's a lot of interpretations for one short song!

I'm barely surviving a heatwave. It was 40 °C today, and the thermal interrupter was shutting down every 10 minutes because it doesn't like air conditioners.

Meanwhile this song was playing a joke on me. It was released at winter, when nobody cared.

It curses "the cun*t of god", because there is so much heat, and he doesn't have money for "the split" (AC), and can't sleep, and he will be fired from work.

Is no more winter, and some dude at the radio is laughing at our a*ses.
