Genres You Dislike/Conversion

If you should ever find something that could be considered hip-hop, that's really melodic and not just based on beat and lyrics, feel free to try again.
I have no reason to dislike hip-hop other than that the music doesn't appeal to me.

Say... what do you dislike?

I don't actively dislike any genre, but I feel out of touch with the dubstep movement.

I put that album on yesterday and thought of posting a song in here, but then I thought... Is this rap? It is Hip-Hop, but s_k really has more of a problem with rap it seems.

Either way, one of the best albums of all time.

I personally do not dislike any sort of genre in particular. What I do dislike are specific songs or artists from these genres. If I had to however point out which is my least favorite of them all, I would have to go with country.

What if you heard a remix/mashup of a rapper over a melodic tune?

Something like this...

Not the most "melodic" of mashups, but can't find anything better right now.

To be honest, I think that all genres are far to wide and diverse to be treated with such coarse generalisations as "all country sucks". You can't universally pan a whole range of artists purely because of the medium that they've chosen to express themselves through.
