Prince is way up there on my favorites list. 50% of the reason I like him is because of his personality and charisma. I love how sure he is about himself, and I think it really makes an impact on the originality of his music....And original, it is. I would murder to be able to go to one of his concerts. I've heard he only does a concert every once in a while, but when he does, he pours his heart and soul into it.
There's not a song of his I hate, but I am especially fond of "The Beautiful Ones", and of course "When Doves Cry" His style is so unique and refreshing, I really need to get more albums. |

Prince has got a high cringe factor with me. Sign of the Times has some great material on but I can't stand the songs that he sounds like a chipmunk (Housequake), as well as You Got the Look (Ugh! Sheena Easton). But what kept my interest was his ability to turn an original tune. His best most consistent album was "Parade"
1> Kiss 2> Around the World in a Day 3> Sign of the Times 4> Lady Cab Driver 5> The Beautiful Ones 6> Raspberry Beret 7> Alphabet St. 8> Controversy 9> Mountains 10>Anotherloverholenyohead
