Interesting story (at least I think so anyway). I used to go bar hopping with my cousin back in the eighties. Now he was a metal head and into all the glam metal groups of the day (I was more of a college rock guy myself). For some reason he was really into Prince. Or at least that's what I thought. He told me later he only listened to Prince to pick up girls. No one could accuse him of not being shallow.

As for me, I wasn't a fanatical Prince fan, but I did like the 1999 and Purple Rain albums and some assorted songs here and there later on. It was fun to hear VH1 refer to him as 'The Artist Formerly known as Prince' for awhile. He was a character.
