Any of the later albums worth a listen-in fact would a comp of later Prince be at all possible from those in the know?
Hi.first time on this forum....noticed this thread about the little minneapolis genius....i have been an admirer of his music for 28 years now...if you look at his overall musical talent...i dont think anyone can come near him...to me.....prince is music.....his back catalogue is vast in its size and different genres .....i would be happy to put a compilation of his more recent stuff together for you......his best recent album is lotusflower ....it rocks hard for most of it.....and its very good.....

my fave is "Sign O' The Times" followed by "Around the World in a Day"

both "Musicology" and "3121" are also very good comeback albums

Bad sound quality and will probably be removed soon but enjoy whilst you can. what an awesome performer! The Sign O The Times live concert DVD is superb.

The album version was so bad, but this makes it sound almost exciting.

Edit: He's a wild animal though, good god. So much energy.

After digging up a copy of 1999 for a buck a while back, I think I'm ready for another Prince album. He seems like a very talented pop artist from what I've heard and read about his work, and I'd like to hear more of him. I'm guessing that Purple Rain should be my next buy but I haven't read up on his other works before so I'm just assuming here.

Purple Rain has to be my favourite. What a bundle of joy.

Dirty Mind is another classic. Underrated electro funk mini masterpiece.
