Default Music Education

Hi All,

I'm just wondering what peoples takes are on music education? Specifically the pro's and con's of online lessons and tuition websites. Does anyone have any good recommendations for tuition websites as the quality of info on youtube etc is really up and down.

Thanks,

Adam

You mean the subject that's facing massive cuts in the UK to make way for moar subjects like Citizenship. Apparently boring children to death in lessons they already know from being on the earth for more than five minutes is more important than trying to instill some culture in them.

From a systematic university point of view: Extremely helpful yet unnecessary.

From a personal exploration, an self educated point of view: absolutely essential, even if you go to 'conservatory'.

When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
