Well..Jesus Christ! You have all these "Pinche Payasa's" that know everything! lol..

You should hear us in person Soldier. Every state has its own individual accent. And I think after you live in 3 to 5 different states for any period of time..well..

Same here really, if you go out of London and the South East (the civilized part) to the rest of the country, you`ll get to hear all types of funny accents and as for what they`re saying half the time......God only knows

It can be frustrating (for both parties concerned) at times especially in the Southern states being a Yankee from the North.

^That's^ vodka and drug induced language. It almost sounds like something from a sequel to Star Trek or Star Wars.

I can just picture him/her zapping someone with their "dehumanizing laser pistol" and equating them with a corporation for all of eternity! And then they reply.. "Yo"!

"Then you expertly holster your laser pistol with the precision of a future (Wyatt Earp) Star Trooper".

Geesh.

Can't we just all agree "Sun Ra > Both"?

Sounds like the type of film that could have Will Smith in!

Anyway back to the music, Captain Beefheart over Frank Zappa everytime and I find Safe as Milk, Trout Mask Replica and Lick My Decals Off, Baby better than Zappa`s best albums. I really went off Zappa several years ago and I still find a lot of his albums and their satirical content quite boring now. I still think his best work was with the Mothers of Invention and especially the Freak Out! album.

Zappa did some really cool stuff and I respect him but Beefheart must be honored with the deepest kind of reverence reserved for a very select few musicians. If you don't vote for Beefheart in the poll you should feel embarrassed. The difference is that profound.

I've met a lot of professional musicians with terrible taste. If you count music teachers as professionals I think I've only met one who knew **** about music at all and had any taste.
I'm sorry. And I dont mean to be argumentative just for the sake of arguing. But you have some of the most abstract theories Ive ever heard before. If your going to post your opinion, you need to be prepared to interpret and explain your position a little better after making such bold and arrogant statements.

I would like to hear some more of your insight and opinion concerning music, which is quite entertaining to say the least.

I like to think that I am personally open minded enough to admit when I am wrong, or by seeing the legitimacy of another opinion.

Please enlighten me with your vast knowledge concerning as to a "litmus test to judge a person's understanding of music"?

I can respect anyone's personal opinion, but just being simply arrogant is a "no go" with me.

I have no beef with you personally my friend, but I am inquisitive as to your view concerning personal preference to music and different artist.

After all..This is Musicbanter. Not Muzicforums.
