yes. while nearly everyones heard of them, which to some makes them mainstream, their style is still considered alternative.

Male men? Are there other kinds of men?

They're essentially a rock band.

They've always been classified under Alternative. Always

I'm not a huge fan of the songs most people have heard by them, but some great songs are:

Shiver
Don't panic
We never change
For you

Their Parachutes album was outstanding

Without trying to sound ignorant has Coldplay released their new album yet? I heard Every Teardrop... the other day and it sounded pretty decent, so I've get high hopes for this new album.

They just finished recording it and posted the tracklist yesterday. I hated ETIAW, but I've got pretty good hoped for this. Major Minus and Hurts Like Heaven are fantastic songs.

Can't stand the band, sorry. Few decent tracks which you can listen without ripping your head off. Maybe I could take a moment again with the band, it might change my attitude

MX is a vast disappointment. Sugarcoated, weak songs overall, but with a few standouts, namely Hurts Like Heaven and Us Against the World.

They've summed up this drivel of a band perfectly, can we close the thread down now?
