.....musically (and i guess what really matters) they WERE similar. they were both British, they both wrote pop, or pop inspired rock, etc. and parachutes is really the only album that applies to. so please, stop comparing the two.

thank you! :-)

Coldplay did take some qualities from Radiohead and I don't see how they aren't apparent enough. They should stay as muzak, and nothing else beyond that. For the fans- good for you all that you like them! Har.

I like one song from Coldplay (Viva La Vida) but whenever I hear any of their other songs, I think of grabbing a noose and hanging myself. Yellow is one of the most annoying songs on earth.

I love Coldplay, every single one of their albums is great and they just get better and better.

I'm on the fence about Coldplay. Sometimes the songs hit me in the right way, other times not so much.

Coldplay are amazing but sometimes I think their a lil overrated. Like when the Grammy's come along, might as well just give them everything. No complaints though. At least they give a damn.

i don't really trust the Grammy's anymore. some of the artists that win aren't that deserving, especially in the rock/metal sections

I think that was Joe Satriani's favorite track as well. Ha Ha :-)
