That was more of me just REALLY liking the 40 year old virgin.

I go back and forth with coldplay. I mean I like the first two CDs, but the last two, well, not so much. I actually was going to go see them last week but I found myself strapped for cash after breaking my computer screen by accident so the ticket had to be sold.

And I hate Satriani but c'mon. I'll admit Radiohead ripped of that part of Sexy Sadie...

I'll admit I like a few songs of theirs, but overall they're a pretty dull band.

And the bridge to My Iron Lung sounds alot like a riff from Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana and Creep's melody for the song's bridge was taken from a Hollies song, so they get royalties. But anyway they do sound similar but not the same.

Further proving that Creep sucks...

But anyways the chord progressions for "Viva La Vida" and "If I Could Fly" are exactly the same and Coldplay admit they rip off songs so I think it's pretty obvious.

Coldplay is one of my favorite bands. The piano is inspiring and the lead singer's voice is very original.

I like Coldplay, I have every album except their last one. I just didn't get around to buying it...

I also love Chris Martin's voice, one of my fav vocalists. He also seems to be very down to earth if youve ever seen any of their live footage or them being interviewed, I remember once seeing a show were he climbed up the balcony to give Noel Gallagher a hug.

Anyway even if they did rip off that Satriani tune, I wouldnt really care because Viva La Vida is a far better song, Satriani's music always reminds me of something you'd here in a elevator, really generic and boring.

True. Nothing's worse than the guitar bores that talk about how talented he is.

I agree, I think a lot of their piano is very pretty and inspiring. When my band first started we covered a lot of Coldplay songs because we liked the piano so much.
