Because it sounds like (And is) a Bends rip-off. With more piano, but still...Plus Chris Martin can't sing! And he doesn't have Johnny Greenwood.
Edit: I like Coldplay though.

What exactly is a Bends rip off, all of their output, specific albums or songs? Name them please...

I haven't heard their debut but most of the songs on their next two albums.

I could never get into Coldplay. I remember listening to a song called "Yellow" (or I think that's waht it was called) and I tried other songs but I can't get into their style, lyrically I feel it's nothing to write home about and instramentally there decent. A bit boring for me.
