Thought of this thread last night while driving in rain and listening to this song (I always have Bryter Layter in the car). My favorite song by my favorite singer-songwriter.

"At the Chime of a City Clock" is a very mellow song, ribbons, and seems to match the mood of a rainy night perfectly!

Does that mean pretty much any solo artist that writea his own stuff, and any band where the vocalist writes most of the songs mostly himself? Because of that's the case, aren't a lot of artists singer songwriters?
