It's a fun song, but I wouldn't say that it "encompasses all that is music." Honestly, it didn't really stun me, and it kind of reminds me of compositions normally featured in dramatic movie previews... I don't know... I just got that vibe from it.
People are entitled to their opinions, though. |

Yeah, the title and original post weren't meant to be taken literally, sort of like my subsequent bible verse lol. It probably comes down to me being new to math rock, and becoming vicariously infatuated with a particual song from the (sub)genre.

I've gotten into it only recently. I used to only be interested in music that I believed had a lot of energy, atmosphere, feeling/emotion, or a mix. For awhile I thought that was only Trance, but slowly I've matured and now I know some Math Rock does the trick. Might as well try out every genre I can since it doesn't take long enough to find new stuff as it is. Oh well.
