17. At least I'm not a complete neanderthal (sarcasm). I was overjoyed to see Atreyu in the bottom. I've had the displeasure of seeing them live and I have nothing good to say about a band that tries to pass that off as metal

I have 76 of those and all of the top ten. Not sure whether that is a good thing. Why on earth Megadeth's Rust In Peace is in there when Peace Sells is far superior is beyond me and Belle and Sebastian? Shocking. I frigging hate 'Twee' music with a passion. A serious lack of Reagge and soul too
Awesome to see Mezzanine so high though

I'm incredibly happy that the Manic Street Preachers made number 18! I'm kinda surprised actually, thought I was one of the few here who adore 'The Holy Bible'. I own 58 of these albums. I've got some work to do.

there's no way the Blue album is above Pinkerton. That's the most ridiculous element of this list.
Obviously not entirely to my taste and an old original thread, but not too bad a top 100 list. I like many albums on this list. Any chance we can do another list? Like an updated version, same RYM format, with the new members and the new ratings/reflections. Would be interesting. |
