I wonder, if I removed the question list, would the clubs generate more, or less discussion?
A "spoon" is merely a bullet point left with the intent of stirring the thoughts and opinions of people who need aid to get motivated on a discussion topic, whether it's because they don't know where to start or clearly express what they want to say. I'm not criticizing those who've used the form, because I'm grateful to everyone who has contributed and I've been pleased to read them all, but I'm wondering if it is taking away from the "discussion" aspect of the club. Instead of talking with one another about the album, we leave the form behind and move on. I'm wondering if the form is creating a crutch for our opinions to rest on, or would we just be limping along without it? |
