It's totally campy, and I think that's the primary problem for me. I'm not typically crazy about goofiness in my music, and even less when the album can't make up its mind between camp and serious work. It's this indecisiveness that's the reason I'm not a big fan of Odelay or At War With the Mystics either.

I've gotten too busy at work to write much of a review of the resident's album but I just wanted to say thanks to the people who nominated/voted for it. I only knew of them vaguely as a performance group which is not really my thing, so I was really happily surprised by the album. It reminds me a lot of Throbbing gristle/early Ween which are 2 of my absolute favorites.

have been very busy for the past week so i didn't really have the time to listen to the Residents carefully

also was rather busy listening to the albums in Metal Wars

so apologies, though I quite liked it the few times I heard it

One more nomination and we'll have enough for me to put up the poll, please!

EDIT: Got it.

The only release I can find is coupled with a 4 track EP from the year before. Should I be listening to both?
