"early morning cold taxi" is my fave song off The Who Sell Out
all the singles and B-sides on "Are You Experienced?" are much better than the album tracks. cept for the title track
i like the second live disc of Joy Division's Still more than the actual album
i like "Trombone Dixie" a lot more than the actual Pet Sounds
i like the weird Pixies parody on The Replacements' Tim (??) more than the actual album

Not particularly. I believe most bonus tracks are just tracks that didn't make the cut of the album alone. There might be the occasional exception, however.

y so? Still as a posthumous album is pretty half-assed

Are you Experienced? is like the Beginner's Guide to Hendrix, i don't like stuff like Red House much, the singles and B-Sides are catchier

Pet Sounds while good, starts to get extremely cloying after a while, and Trombone Dixie is where Brian flexes his musical muscles

finally, i don't like much of Tim cept for Waitress in the Sky

The only bonus track I could think of off the top of my head that trumped all the songs on an album is Nirvana's Endless Nameless. Seriously, best song on that whole album. All other tracks were way over produced. Rawest song on there.

They sometimes are my favourite tracks on the album:

Breakin' Up - Violent Femmes
Wonder People - Love
I go to sleep - The Kinks.

I thought the re-release of Reign in blood, added something with the reworked additional tracks. Generally i don't really care for bonus/reworked tracks, but i enjoyed the overall sound quality of the additional songs.

The thought of Reign In Blood being over 28 minutes long saddens me.
