Bar a few songs i completely agree, and i'd say they were hinting upon it on Because of the Times too, which isn't as consistent an album as i'd like it to be.
I see only a few signs of 'dirty southern rock' on either. |

![]() ![]() Love the Velvet Underground and some of Lou Reeds solo stuff, but this was just a travesty. No, I don't care if it's a "milestone" in noise music, it was Lou in a recording studio unable to do anything because he was so stoned out of his mind on heroin. |

How could I forget about this one. I'm a huge Lou Reed fan but this was terrible. When I first started getting into the Velvets and Reed's solo music, people kept telling me to avoid this one.
