I'll actually take Endless Wire over any Who album, unless you count Meaty, Beaty as a proper "album." But then again, it probably shouldn't be credited to the Who.

I quite like that album. It'll never be as good as Oceanic or Panopticon, but it's a leap forward rather than rewriting the same album... it's more proggy and less primal than those two. And Over Root and Thorn is one of the greatest things they've done.
I think I might give it another spin now actually.
