I haven't been to that many shows, but I always have to travel at least an hour to get there. (But that counts for pretty much everything. I use 2-3 hours traveling to and from the university and karate practice every day.)
The longest I've traveled is to Bergen to see Metallica. I traveled by plane but by car it takes around 5-6 hours one way. I've also gone to Tromøya (4 hours) to see Arcade Fire. I don't mind; I'm just grateful when bands decide to have Norway on their tour list. |

Anyways, I've never travelled far for a concert. Maybe 30 minutes . I would love to see a show in another city, however I don't have the money to do so |

no more than 8 hours, to see Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Anything else has been in one.

I live in a pretty rural place (nearest city where a lot of shows go down is a bit over an hour's drive away), so I usually have to travel to go see shows. However, last June Alexisonfire (who are like, my favorite Canadian band and one of my favorite bands period) headlined some small two-day festival just ten minutes away in an even smaller town. I went, of course!
Farthest I've traveled is Buffalo, NY, which is a little over 3 hours away. Done that twice, probably gonna do it again this summer.

The farthest I've traveled is from Seattle to New Orleans. But that's because my best friend was living in Lafayette, Louisiana and got me a free flight down there to see a band we bonded over in our younger years (Skinny Puppy). Otherwise I always wait till they come to my town. If they don't, oh well. I've considered going to neighboring towns if a band I wanted to see was going there but not here, but I've never actually gone through with it.
