I agree with the smooth jazz thing. For some reason every song has the same sounding sax.

It seems to me that anyone that dosen't actually play an instrument hates classical music, because they're not exposed to it. I'd say people do need some exposure to classical music, because not many people can say that the first time they took a listen to classical music they weren't a little bit turned off or slightly bored. And not all classical music is boring. Some of it is extremely powerful and brilliant. People don't give it a chance.

On the other hand, I hate southern hip-hop, and the genre of music that bands like Staind, Chevelle, and Nickelback are in.

i despise the subgenres of metal....

nu metal, scream metal, black metal, death meatal, melodeath, blue metal, hair metal, cheese metal, aluminium?

I dunno ,there is waaay more than that. I dont understand why in a day and age when genreenre classification is becoming more and more difficult, that this group of people have come out and chosen to create a seemingly endless list of new "sub-genres", which will only cause more conflict and confusion

I find a lot of neo prog to be pretty lame.

When I say neo prog, I don't mean all new prog, because theres a lot of great stuff.

Neo prog is basically another term for Genesis ripoff band.
