Saw him on Monday on a poetry night. Pretty passionate perfomance but i think i enjoyed a few of the people below him on the list a little bit more.
Don't really like the stuff Dans Le Sac has done with him... |

Albums like Illmatic and 36 Chambers are so damn good they can go really far to change any prejudices you may have due to more recent mainstream stuff. Just ask me and all my friends i've introduced those albums to who used to hate rap. They're really special albums that crossover on all music fans. |

If I had to pick a favorite rap album it would either be It Takes Millions, The Chronic or Ready to Die.

J5's Quality Control
Jay-Z's Blueprint Talib Kweli's Ear Drum Beautiful Struggle and Quality KRS-One's return of the Boom Bap Common's Be Dialated Peoples Expansion Team Nas' Illmatic & Black Star (Mos Def and Kweli) are some of my favorite Rap albums and I recommend them to anyone who is a fringe hip-hop fan. |
