Q: Most annoying debate for which band is better (ie. Beatles vs. Stones).

A: For me, it's Phish and The Grateful Dead. Aside from both being really about their live performance, they're really not all that musically similar; GD was just an influence. It's like comparing Queen and Radiohead.

Q: Which music that you dig has the most infuriating misconceptions by non-fans surrounding it?

A: Basically any kind of music that uses harsh vocals. I can't stand when people use the term "screamo" to describe anything they hear that has harsh vocals.

Q: Do you consider the ability to produce any of the million genres of electronica well, a talent?

DoctorSoft 07-07-2011 04:55 PM

Yes, obviously. You're still writing/arranging music which takes talent.

Q: Japanese Ska or Brazilian Reggae?

Blarobbarg 07-07-2011 08:54 PM

A: Brazillian reggae. Although I'm sure there's some insane Japanese Ska I have yet to hear.

Q: Where do you work?

Howard the Duck 07-07-2011 09:14 PM

A. Some two-bit law firm in Kuala Lumpur.

Q. Where do you live?

Q. Where do you live?

A: Ashland, KY - or, I guess an unincorporated township outside of Ashland which has no government and is the closest thing to anarchy you're going to see around this country.

Q: Do you like music more that makes you intensely happy, or music that drains you emotionally?

METALLICA_RULES 07-07-2011 09:20 PM

A: A bit of both, but more on the happy side.

Q: What is your favourite music genre?

DoctorSoft 07-07-2011 09:28 PM

Hmm, I guess to be vague, Metal, just cause it covers so much of what I listen too.

What's an example of where the singer's voice ruins a song?
