Q: What is your favorite instrumental rock song?

A: The Marketts - Out of Limits, easily in my top 20 songs of all time instrumental or not.

Q: Name a movie scene ruined because of the choice of music.

Howard the Duck 06-25-2011 01:51 AM

A. Just about every song in the Watchmen movie, except it's the other way around.

Q. Why are music snobs so snobbish?

A. because they're snob.

Q. what if the tsunami incident were to happen in your country, what would you do?

Howard the Duck 07-07-2011 07:08 AM

a. depends on its severity - a tsunami did hit around the same time as the Java incident, but the sea only rose a few feet

q. is it that obvious that the above Q & A has nothing at all to do with music?

(bumping this thread again, i'm quite fond of it)

Blarobbarg 07-07-2011 07:18 AM

A: Quite obvious, yes.

Q: I have a favorite color. What isn't it?

captaincaptain 07-07-2011 08:22 AM

A: Fuschia

(back to music)
Q: What's the worst album by your favorite band?

Howard the Duck 07-07-2011 08:29 AM

A. The Ramones - Mondo Bizarro - when my fave song there is a bonus track of a cover of an old Spiderman cartoon theme, that ought to be sayin' something

Q. What band did you initially hate but later liked because of hearing their best album?

Metal Connoisseur 07-07-2011 09:51 AM

A: Fleet Foxes. I thought all the modern folk/indie/pop bands that were becoming popular were just a product of the mindless hipster movement and was really quick to dismiss them. Then I matured enough to the point where I sat down (upon the recommendation of a friend) and listened to the Sun Giant EP and immediately fell in love and have all their stuff now.

Q: What genre of music (fans, artists, or otherwise) do you find to have the most baseless pretentious attitude and why?

Howard the Duck 07-07-2011 10:22 AM

A. Classical, cos here, all attendees to a concert need to come in tuxes and evening gowns, and the classical guitarists here spend eight hours sandpapering their fingernails

Q. Which musical genre has the friendliest fanbase?

Q. Which musical genre has the friendliest fanbase?

A: Motown (not technically a genre but whatever). The music is as light-hearted as you can get, as are its fans.

Q: Most annoying debate for which band is better (ie. Beatles vs. Stones).
